| i am looking for a home for my pony she is aprox 14hh , i dont know her full history as i rescued her from a market i have had her for 2 years initially i rode her she didnt understand canter but i didnt mind that as over time that would come , but the issue i discovered was that she was utterly petrefied of being touched on her rear end and generally worried i spend a lot of time trying to gain her trust , i turned her away in the field just so she could have some her time and by admitance on by behalf that was the wrong thing as it just made her more nervous, i the brought her in and handled her and she was improving a lot , i have full trust in her and believe she has not one bad bone in her body she is very kind but very worried and just doesnt want to let her guard down, i have had cyndie gould help me with her , and on big discussions with cyndie i feel i have not got the time this poor girl needs ,my 10 year old son can almost do anything with her on the ground i think that she feels he is not a threat, i feel heart wrenched on coming to this disicion, as i feel i brought her out of a bad world to bring her into a good one and realise i have the patience but not the time that she needs i run a busy livery yard which has helped her as lots of people talk to her but i feel that she needs someone that understands her needs and can help her in letting her guard down, she has a best friend which is a 11.1 pony whom also i am having to sell and i would like it if they could go together , i believe she is approx 7 years old she has an eye problem which i am trying to get cream into it is on the third eye lid when i manage to get the cream in the area seems to go down but it is proving difficult i cant ask the vet to do it as he is a man and she gets worried when men go near her and the same with the farrier , she is petrified of him and i keep trying to say to her that he is just trimming and it wont hurt she is up to date with worming but unfortunatly not vaccinated as trying to get the vet near her proves difficult , she is a challenge and im being totally honest in that she has a whole load of issues and problems psycologicly and im sure with the right home she will over come these issues as i feel she deserves better than what i can give, i would ask for only the right person that can help her in dealing with theses problems to contact as when she finds a home i wish for it to be for life she deserves it and does not deserve to be put through the mill i am not asking for a price i am just asking for the right home all i do ask is maybe a small fee for a horse charity, that would help other horses out | |
