Five day or weekend clinics can be used to look at almost any aspect of horsemanship, ridden or otherwise. New clinics concentrating on work in hand, long lining and seat training will cover these areas exclusively. The first day of ‘weekend’ clinics is an optional Friday which is restricted to ground work. Clients can bring horses or hire ours.

Jo Bond's Intelligent Horsemanship weekend at Sarlat (France)

Jo Bond, of Bond with your Horse, is giving a weekend of lectures and demonstrations on how to deal with common, but irritating, problems with your horse/pony at the Stade de Bonnefond, Sarlat on the weekend of June 13/14th.

Jo is a Recommended Associate of Kelly Marks in the UK and is the holder of the Monty Roberts Preliminary Certificate of Horsemanship. She is experienced with a variety of problems of equine behaviour and will present solutions.

The lecture/demos will be held at the Horse Club, Stade de Bonnefond, Route de Bergerac, Sarlat on Saturday June 13th and Sunday June 14th. The times of the lectures will be 10.00-12.00 and 14.00-16.00

The cost is 25 euros for the whole week-end or 15 euros per day.  There will be lunch available each day at extra reasonable cost. In the event of inclement weather the lectures will be held in the indoor school.

In order to make sure of a seat (as places may be limited if demand is great!) please pay in advance by cheque made payable to Association Horse Club du Perigord Noir, Stade du Bonnefond, Rte de Bergerac, 24 200 Sarlat.    Tel 05 53  59 03 06     email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

If you have a horse or pony with a particular problem which you think would be interesting for everyone to learn about solving, please contact the Horse Club as Jo would like to have "real" problems to deal with.

For those coming a long distance (France is such a big country!) there is a reasonably priced hotel just up the road.... Hotel Altica 05 53 28 18 00 ....plus a host of other hotels in Sarlat, and some good restaurants as well!  The Horse Club has some green space and welcomes careful campers (ablutionary facilities available in the club-house); for this please contact the Horse Club so they can reserve you a space.

The aim of this week-end is to be instructional, interesting and convivial... please tell all your friends about it. The lectures are to be conducted in French and English with simultation translation.

For any queries please contact the Horse Club.  tel 05 53 59 03 06    email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
