Main 2007/2008 Charity: The Veteran Horse Society

The Veteran Horse Society is this years main Intelligent Horsemanship Charity. There will be lots of fundraising being held on the Discussion Group with auctions, raffles, events and more! The VHS has now been officially launched for over five years, starting out as a welfare organisation but growing into so much more. They now have extra departments relating to showing, rehoming, rehaiblitation and dressage.

They aim to raise awareness of the veteran horse and how they can continue to be superstars, even in their golden years.

Classifieds Charity: The New Arc

The North East Wildlife and Animal Rescue Centre or New Arc is our Classifieds Charity of the year, with all money from the For Sale section of the IH site going to them.

The New Arc is an animal rescue centre in Aberdeenshire who rescue animals from rats to horses, some of which have been abused, some that are no longer wanted by their owners or some that are wild, injured and just need a place to recuperate.

They are a small team of people and volunteers that are dedicated to helping animals of all shapes and sizes.
