The Office Team

Brenda

Brenda is the Office Manager and Alpha mare of the office.

Brenda is the heart and soul of IHHQ. Not only does she bring a ray of sunshine to everyday but she keeps everything from courses to tours running as smoothly as a well oiled machine.

Some refer to her as 'the oracle' because as she knows everything and can always answer any query. She is very popular on the phone lines and has many an IH fan around the world.

Bridget

Bridget joined the team in 2007 and deals with memberships and also has the giant task of managing the orders for tickets and merchandise from our online shop. She does a brilliant job and manages to stay remarkably calm during the delightlful  madness of tour time.

Sandra

Sandra may well be your first point of contact. All the contact us e-mails that gallop into the IH office get filtered through Sandra. She coordinates this from her home set high in the Chiltern Hills. Her calm and thorough approach is well known amongst Intelligent Horsemanship members. Having been an RA and Course Tutor for 11 years she is suitably informed to help with enquiries such as sizing of Dually’s, reassurance of course attendance and pointing you in the right direction for Horse Help. More recently she has taken on the role of RA coordinator and supporting Stage 2 students. Passionate about Horses and Humans working in a non violent way, when she is not sat at the computer she is travelling to help individuals and groups with their horses. Teaching alongside Kelly and the rest of the team on IH courses keeps her up to date with information to share with others.

Sarah

"I became the Editor of the Listening Post at the beginning of 2011. It's a job that I absolutely love - it's fascinating watching a word document and a few pictures transform into a glossy article thanks to the original author, the photographers, sub editors and then the designer. I welcome articles that have an IH angle and are educational and interesting - they can cover anything from the physical to behavioural, to stories about horses and their owners and the hurdles that they may have overcome. My only qualifications for this job were the abilities to read and write but also a real hunger to communicate through the written word and pictures. As well as being an IHRA, I am a volunteer for the Hampshire FRS Animal Rescue Team and for the Dartmoor Pony Training Centre."

Katie

Katie is the creative whirlwind in the IH office. She is responsible for brilliant ideas such as the IH Hoodies, posters and adverts. Katie also edits the footage we have from demonstrations and has produced some fantastic programmes for us which show on Horse and Country TV.

Linda

Linda is the IH accounts manager. She deals with all aspects of finance. She is also a keen pianist and has a real talent for beethoven especially Fur elise! She is self employed and comes into the office twice a week.

Joanne

Joanne is the bookkeeper's apprentice. She has been with us since 2007 and is reknown for her positive outlook and dedicated attitude. She only works part time as she is a family girl, but when she is here she brings such joy to all other employees. Jo has an excellent eye for fashion and always dresses to impress (IH fashion award winner 2010). We are yet to see her belly dancing in the Turkish jingly jangly skirt that Kelly bought her for Christmas!!

Rosie

Rosie is Kelly's and Monty's tour rider. A gifted young horsewoman! Although she is based in Sussex, she travels all the way up to Lambourn regularly to train and show Kelly's young horses. Of course she is an IH Recommended Associate who is available for callouts and also an extremely popular tutor on the IH courses. Besides all those horsey obligations, Rosie even manages to study Anthropology at University!
