Charities we support

Kelly Marks is currently patron of two wonderful charities as well as supporting her local Riding for the Disabled Group, in Lambourn

HorseWorld is a charity dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned, neglected and mistreated horses, ponies and donkeys.

The organisation cares for more than 100 horses, ponies and donkeys at its Bristol site and provides after-care and support for around 200 more, who have been re-homed throughout the South-West.

The charity also runs the innovative Discovery educational programme. HorseWorld’s vital 365-days-a-year animal welfare work is funded by voluntary donations.

You can help transform the lives of horses, ponies and donkeys. HorseWorld is not open to the public on a day-to-day basis but it holds Open Days throughout the year. Please see the events page for details.

Shylowen Horse and Pony Sanctuary

At Shylowen they rescue equines in need and provide a safe haven for life. While their main focus is those that can be rehabilitated and rehomed, they also take in animals ranging from wild ponies to neglected and abused working horses

All of their animals are signed over to Shylowen for life and the charity does not pay to purchase any horses.

Our horses are given all the care, attention and time needed to overcome any physical issues. They live in peace and harmony, usually in groups or even larger herds. They are allowed to be themselves.
